Site partnerships
Build a study-ready site partnership.
For hospitals, research institutions and investigators assessing collaboration: start with protocol fit, capacity and clearly defined responsibilities.
Discuss your studyAssess the fit before selecting a site
Consider the study population, clinical pathway, procedures, investigator expertise and institutional permissions. Participation in a discussion does not establish a partnership or qualify a site. Keep selection evidence specific to the proposed study.
Prepare the institutional profile
A useful initial profile summarizes services and resources without including identifiable patient information. More detailed evidence should be exchanged through an agreed confidential channel.
- Investigator experience and time available for research
- Study-coordinator and supporting staff capacity
- Relevant patient pathways and competing studies
- Laboratory, imaging, pharmacy and emergency arrangements
- Institutional ethics remit, research permissions and records access
Clarify responsibilities and readiness actions
Agree how the sponsor, CRO, institution and investigator will manage training, participant communication, safety escalation, source records and study documents. Record gaps, owners and completion evidence before initiation. An institutional agreement is separate from national ethics or product authorization.
Protect participants and sensitive information
Discuss consent languages, literacy, visit burden, follow-up and access to appropriate care. Plan how staff will protect confidentiality while allowing authorized monitoring. Recruitment planning should be realistic and should avoid pressure on patients to participate.
Explore the partnership brief
Use the demonstration below to see the information a business discussion would need. It does not transmit an inquiry or establish a partnership. No hospitals or investigator networks are presented as confirmed affiliates.
Inquiries are handled by email. Please do not include patient information or confidential documents.
